Bradmere suffered a significant fire on the evening of 21st April 2025. Thanks to the swift and effective response of our duty staff, all residents were safely evacuated with no casualties, a credit too, to our safety systems, plans and procedures.
We are eternally grateful to our capable and professional duty staff, the emergency services who
attended the fire, our neighbours have been great and supportive, all our staff/management who we are very proud of, that have supported the emergency and aftermath, our family members/friends, Salford Social Services and the care homes that organised rehoming, to our Merrymeet residents that opened their door to our Bradmere residents immediately following the fire, and to our Bradmere residents and their families who have been amazing during the crisis- we wish you well and happiness in your new homes.
Our heartfelt thanks to you all.
Bradmere's garden has had a make over, with a lovely new timber decking and wrap around seating area. Some raised beds have been created so our green fingered residents can plant flowers, or herbs and vegetables to use in the kitchen.
We are delighted to receive such beauty-full, uplifting words, and colourful, illuminating pictures from the pupils at Branwood. We are touched to receive them and are grateful for the cheer they bring, especially during our social isolation. Keep well and keep shining. :-)
It was so very kind and generous of the lady to drop this hamper in to Bradmere at Christmas. We don't have your name to thank you personally but we're very grateful. Yummy! Our residents will enjoy tucking in to those treats. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
